The Culver Town Council members invite residents to tour the water plant facility on April 8.
Town Manager Jonathan Leist said an open house is planned for residents to see the recent improvements made to the water plant.
“It’ll be just a brief presentation – maybe just a brief speech by the council president or myself,” said Leist. “We’ll be thanking everyone who’s been involved. Hopefully it’s an investment that pays off for citizens. We’ll have a short dedication ceremony for people who want to come and look at it. It is a very nice building.”
The 50-year-old water plant was in dire need of repairs. The final cost of the project was just under $1.2 million and was only over budget by about $1,100.
The open house begins at 10 a.m. ET on Saturday, April 8 at the facility at 520 Ohio Street in Culver.
