The Marshall County Health Department has completed its move to the Community Resource Center. The Health Department’s new offices officially opened Monday.
During Monday’s county commissioners meeting, Commissioner Kurt Garner reported the move was completed Friday, thanks to help from the county’s maintenance staff. Now, maintenance workers will turn their attention to helping the County Prosecutor’s Office expand into the Health Department’s former space in the Marshall County Building.
Meanwhile, Garner says the commissioners will have a couple final invoices to approve at their upcoming meetings, one for the contractor and one for the architect’s construction observation services. There are also some contracts for various systems at the new Health Department offices that still need to be approved.
Garner says an open house will be held later this month. The new Health Department offices are located at 510 West Adams Street in Plymouth, Room GL-30.
