South Gateway Plans to Be Outlined During Public Meeting

Plymouth IndianaMarshall County residents can learn more about the proposed South Gateway development in downtown Plymouth during a public forum next week. Architect and developer Scott Sivan will present the latest conceptual renderings and site plan for the residential resurgence project on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 5:30 p.m. in the old NIPSCO building at the corner of S. Michigan and LaPorte Streets.He will also explain the unique features the project will offer in downtown Plymouth and answer questions from the community. Supporters of the project say his intention is to provide the best solution to enhance Plymouth’s southern edge and complement the River Park Square area.

The project has the support of the Plymouth City Administration and has been awarded funding through the Regional Cities Initiative, thanks to the efforts of the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation.

Other scheduled presenters include Hoosier Tire President and Regional Development Authority member John DeSalle, Marshall County Economic Development Corporation President and CEO Jerry Chavez and Plymouth City Attorney Sean Surrisi.
