Those interested in running for a school board seat in Marshall County have a few more weeks to file their paperwork with the County Clerk’s Office. Candidates have until Friday, August 26 at noon to register, according to Marshall County Clerk Debbie VanDeMark.
Candidate packets are available at the Voter Registration desk in the County Clerk’s Office in Plymouth Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Six school boards will have seats up for election this November, including Bremen Public Schools, the Culver Community Schools Corporation, the Plymouth Community School Corporation, the Triton School Corporation, and the Union-North School Corporation.
Voters in the John Glenn School District will also be electing members this year. However, all candidates for that school board must file with the St. Joseph County Clerk’s Office.
- Bremen Public Schools: District I, District II, and District III (at large)
- Culver Community Schools Corporation: At Large “A,” District 1, District 2, and District 5
- John Glenn School Corporation: Lincoln Twp., Johnson Twp., Liberty Twp., and Polk Twp.
- Plymouth Community School Corporation: At Large, District 2, and District 3
- Triton School Corporation: At Large and District 3
- Union-North School Corporation: At Large, North Twp. and Union Twp.
