The Marshall County Council will consider a proposal to replace the air conditioning inside the County Building.
The proposal was made following a stint in June where the building was without proper air conditioning. The maintenance department at that time said they could keep the system operating, but it was in need of replacement. The County Council will consider a proposal to fund the work.
That may not be the only expense Marshall County may incur. The Council will also consider a proposal to replace the elevators inside the County Courthouse. The company contracting with the county to repair the elevators has recommended their replacement.
Marshall County has performed similar work at the historical society museum and the county building.
This morning’s meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the County Building.
