Marshall County Police are investigating an incident that occurred on Wednesday.
Officers were called to the 13-thousand block of Ironwood Road after it was reported that several items were stolen from the home. Investigators are calling it a burglary at this time.
Exactly when the incident took place is a bit of a mystery. Police believe it occurred sometime between 6:45 a.m. and 4:04 p.m. that day. Stolen from the home were a .22 caliber rifle and five fully loaded magazines belonging to it. A carrying case, cash, and some jewelry were also stolen.
Investigators say they collected evidence at the scene, but continue to search for witnesses and other information regarding the theft. They’re asking anyone with knowledge of the situation to contact the Marshall County Police Department.
