Earlier this week, several Plymouth High School students commemorated Martin Luther King Day by giving back to the local community.

Groups of students from the school’s Key Club spent time working with animals at the Marshall County Humane Society, helping the staff at the Boys and Girls Club of Marshall County, visiting residents of two Plymouth nursing homes, and cleaning fire trucks at the Plymouth Fire Department.

Plymouth Community School Corporation Marketing Director Judi Lykowski says a total of nearly 100 students spent time Monday volunteering at seven different organizations in Plymouth.
