The Culver Town Council will take the 2016 budget to a second and third reading at its meeting tonight. The two readings are required before the council can decide to adopt the budget.
Additionally, a public hearing is scheduled on the town’s proposed unsafe buildings ordinance. The ordinance would bring the Town of Culver into alignment with a new Marshall County ordinance that set up a hearing board to review requests for safety repairs and demolitions.
The council will also hear comments from the public about the rezoning of 219 S. Main Street.
Tonight’s meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. Eastern.
