The Marshall County Council will consider replacing personnel in a few different departments during their meeting Monday morning.
More importantly, however, will be the approval of a tax abatement. Companies request tax abatements as a way to lower their property tax, or sometimes sales tax, costs when conducting business. The company receiving the abatement, however, has not been disclosed.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department will also be recognizing the retirement of one of its officers.
Council members will meet at 9:00 EDT in the Marshall County Building.
