The Marshall County Commissioners will receive a quarterly report from the Emergency Management Agency at their meeting, Monday.
EMA Director Clyde Avery will be providing a monthly report to the commissioners. Recent storms in the Marshall County area coincide with the report – which will allow Avery to expand on any damages seen in Marshall County.
The Commissioners will also consider County Highway Funding. Former Marshall County Plan Commission member Dennis Thornton will be making a presentation on County Highway Funding.
The discussion follows an inability by the County to act on a wheel tax option as well as comments by the Marshall County Highway Department that more funding may be needed.
The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Marshall County building.
