Four individuals were arrested in Marshall County on Thursday, and it took a bit of cooperation through multiple law enforcement agencies to make it happen.
According to a press release from the Indiana State Police, a saturation patrol was being conducted in Marshall County on Thursday of last week. The effort was made due to the areas’ ongoing methamphetamine problem. Multiple traffic stops were conducted in Plymouth and the surrounding areas according to the report.
Three individuals were arrested by the Indiana State Police. One arrest was made by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department. Illicit drug activity was cited in each of the arrests.
20-year-old Dorsie Cooper of LaPorte is being charged with Possession of Precursors with Intent to Manufacture and Meth Possession. 23-year-old Skylar Daniels of Lapaz will also see Possession of Precursors charges.
Indiana State Police also arrested 53-year-old Penny Burke of Knox for Possession of a Schedule II substance. That’s in addition to other charges.
In their lone drug-related arrest during the saturation patrol, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department arrested 50-year-old David Hickman of Bremen. He is facing Possession of Meth and Cannabis charges along with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
An investigation is ongoing.
