Bourbon Traffic Stop Results in Three Arrests

A few hours after midnight on Sunday, Bourbon Police Officer Adam Kraning conducted a traffic stop on south Main Street at 13th Trail, according to a media advisory.

In a police report written by Kraning, he said he stopped driver Jared Whitfield for traffic and vehicle violations shortly before 2:30 a.m. The officer said that while speaking with Whitfield he smelled the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle and the driver’s breathe. Two Arrested, Following Bi-County Crime Spree

Two arrests have been made in connection with a series of armed robberies and other crimes in LaPorte and St. Joseph Counties, according to the information given by officials and Roanoke criminal justice law firm. According to the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office, 28-year-old Timothy E. Bennitt and 32-year-old Nathan D. Kellogg are being held in the LaPorte County Jail after being linked to a series of crimes since early January. Continue reading →

Multiple Agencies Nab Four for Drugs in Saturation Patrol

Four individuals were arrested in Marshall County on Thursday, and it took a bit of cooperation through multiple law enforcement agencies to make it happen.

According to a press release from the Indiana State Police, a saturation patrol was being conducted in Marshall County on Thursday of last week. The effort was made due to the areas’ ongoing methamphetamine problem. Multiple traffic stops were conducted in Plymouth and the surrounding areas according to the report.
