Today is the absolute last day that voters can register or update their registration information.

Even if you think you’re registered, you should double check to make sure all the listed information is accurate. You have until the end of business hours today to visit the county clerk’s office to register in person or you can register online at IndianaVoters.in.gov. Continue reading

Indiana Counties Clean up Voter Rolls

Indiana counties have done their best to help clear voter registration lists of any outdated voter information.

Thanks to funding from the General Assembly in 2014, postcards were sent to voters throughout Indiana that year to be returned correcting any information as needed. A second forwardable postcard was sent to each of the voters whose first postcard was returned. Voters who did not update outdated voter registration information had their record at the address marked as “inactive”. If the inactive records were not updated or the voter did not vote from that address at any election held in 2014, 2015 or 2016, that registration record was canceled after the November 2016 election.

Today is Primary Voter Registration Deadline

Monday is the final day for those looking to vote in the municipal primary election to register.

Forms must be turned into the voter registration office by 4:00 p.m. or, at the very least, postmarked by today. Voters can register to cast their ballot online, in-person, or through the U.S. Postal Service. Registration can be completed through the local county election office or at any BMV office.
