Culver Slows Down Annexation Discussion

The Town of Culver distributed 28 surveys to landowners asking their thoughts on a possible annexation. Only six provided a positive response.

Plans were initially to annex land to the Northwest of Culver. By annexing land, Culver could increase its assessed value and population, but also gain space for future development.

Marshall County Council Designates Revitalization Zone in Tax Abatement Request

The Marshall County Council took the first step to help a local business expand its operations.

Faulkner Fabricating requested a 10-year property tax levy abatement to help them grow the size of their operation. The company has resided in Marshall County for the past 25 years.

Culver Continues Annexation Efforts

Department of Revenue Continuing Security Measures During Tax Season

The Indiana Department of Revenue says greater security measures will be in place once again to prevent identity theft.

According to a press release, the alleged criminal perpetrators attempted to steal more than $88-million from taxpayers through ID theft and fraudulent tax returns last year.
