Community members are invited to ‘Wave Goodbye to Cancer’ when the Relay for Life of Marshall County hosts their annual event this weekend.
The event will be held on Saturday, May 18th from 6 p.m. until midnight at River Park Square in Plymouth.

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month which starts on October 1st, the Plymouth Fire Department is currently selling t-shirts to promote awareness and raise funds for cancer research.

The Relay for Life of Marshall County will be held tomorrow at River Park Square from noon until midnight. This year’s theme is “Carnival for a Cure.”
As of Thursday afternoon, the Marshall County Relay for Life Teams had collectively gathered about $18,058 for the American Cancer Society to assist with patient programs and cancer research. Continue reading
Representatives with the American Cancer Society say that the organization considers a person a cancer survivor from the moment of a diagnosis, regardless of the type of cancer or the length of treatment.
