A pair of Winamac residents were arrested Tuesday afternoon when narcotics were allegedly found in their speeding vehicle.
A Plymouth Police Department officer pulled over a car driven by 41-year-old Christopher Fields at the intersection of Cook Street and Oak Drive in Plymouth. Marshall County K9 Arras was called to the scene where the dog reportedly indicated the presence of narcotics. Methamphetamine and synthetic marijuana were found in the car, according to a news release.

Plymouth Police and Marshall County Sheriff’s Department officers worked extra shifts last month as part of a crackdown on impaired driving. During the Operation Pull Over blitz, county officers made five criminal arrests for offenses like operating while intoxicated – controlled substance, possession of marijuana, driving while suspended and driver never licensed. South Bend Woman Arrested in Forgery Investigation
A South Bend woman was arrested on Friday, April 10 on a warrant after an investigation in forgery was conducted by the Plymouth Police Department.
The investigation began on Sept. 11, 2014 when police received information that a Seven Oaks Veterinary Clinic employee was given false information on financial documents provided by a customer. Plymouth detectives pursued the case and found that the customer included a fictitious name and forged the name on a document.

Plymouth Teenager Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges
A Plymouth teen is in the Marshall County Jail after an alleged domestic violence incident.
Plymouth Police officers arrived at the Carriage Green Apartments on Dora Lane on Friday after they received a report of a woman battered by her boyfriend. Officers reviewed evidence at the scene and took Juan Hernandez, 19, into custody.
Hernandez was booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of domestic violence in the presence of a minor, strangulation, and possession of marijuana. He is being held on a $3,505 cash bond.
Plymouth Woman Arrested After Daughter Runs Away
A Plymouth woman whose daughter ran away from home faces drug charges. Plymouth Police responded to the Speedway gas station Thursday for a report of a 10-year-old girl who had run away. The officer returned her to the motel room on North Michigan Street where her mother was staying. His report indicates there was a strong smell of marijuana coming from the room. The officer got a search warrant and found marijuana, pills and drug paraphernalia inside the room, according to his report. Seana M. Baldwin, 29, was arrested for possession of marijuana over 30 grams, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of a legend drug and possession of paraphernalia.
Three Face Theft, Marijuana Possession Charges
Three people were arrested after an investigation into a theft at a Plymouth business.
The manager of Low Bob’s Discount Tobacco told Plymouth Police Department officers that several items from a trailer holding merchandise for the business were taken. The trailer was parked on the property at 2111 N. Michigan Street in the overnight hours of March 11.
