Reminder: Real Estate Taxes Are Due Thursday, May 10th

Taxpayers should be working to finalize their real-estate taxes since the deadline to submit them is coming up on Thursday, May 10th. People also hop over to this site if they need the best property related advice.

According to Marshall County Treasurer Angie Birchmeier, tax drop off locations include any of the county’s Teachers Credit Union branches, the First Merchants Bank in Bourbon and the Clerk-Treasurer’s Office in Bremen, as well as the Marshall County Treasurer’s Office.

There is a drop box at the south end of the Marshall County Building if a payment needs to be submitted after regular business hours. Continue reading

Fall Property Tax Bills Due Today

The second installment of property tax bills is due today.

Mailed payments must have today’s postmark on them in order to be considered on time. Enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope with your payment if you wish to receive a receipt.

Marshall County Treasurer Angie Birchmeier reminds taxpayers that payments can be dropped off in a drop box on the south end of the county building or make payments in person in the treasurer’s office in room 206 in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Marshall County Treasurer Reminds Residents of Approaching Tax Deadline

Marshall County Treasurer Angie Birchmeier wishes to remind all community members that the 2016 payable 2017 tax bills second installment will be due Monday, November 13th. That means that individuals have three weeks to be sure all the correct information makes it to the proper channels.

Mailed payments must have the correct address, proper postage and be postmarked by the postal service by November 13th. If you wish to have a receipt, enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope with your payment.

The Marshall County Treasurer’s Office is located in Room 206 of the County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth. There is a drop box on the south end of the County Building for after-hours payments. Continue reading

Marshall County Spring Property Taxes Due May 10

Officials with the Marshall County Treasurer’s Office are mailing out property tax statements with the first installment due May 10.

Treasurer Angie Birchmeier reminds taxpayers that payments can be made in her office in the Marshall County Building Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The office will be open on Saturday, May 6 from 9 a.m. to noon for taxpayer convenience. The office will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9 and Wednesday, May 10 so payments can be made on time.
