The Maxinkuckee Singers are spreading Christmas cheer around the community this holiday season. According to their website, this is a vocal performance off-shoot of the civic theater group ‘The Maxinkuckee Players. They’ve been active in the central northern part of Indiana for nearly three decades.
During the month of December, these singers put on several Christmas themed public performances throughout Marshall County and the surrounding area. Experience the Past in Person at the Rentown Old Fashion Days This Weekend
A Marshall County tradition that honors the past kicks off today. The Rentown Old Fashion Days event will start at 3 p.m. and will run until 8 p.m. tonight. The fun continues on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Admission is $5 per person or individuals 13-year-old and younger are free with parking.

Multiple Marshall County Residents Looking to Restore and Preserve Historic Districts
Despite inclement weather conditions, multiple community members ventured to Wild Rose Moon in Plymouth to attend the Wythougan Valley Preservation Council informational meeting that was held last Thursday.
According to Wythougan Valley President Kurt Garner, the meeting was held in order to inform individuals about various incentives, programs and opportunities available to business owners in historic districts.

Applications Now Open for Marshall County Tourism Enhancement and Development Events Grants
Those organizing events that may bring out-of-town visitors into Marshall County can now apply for up to $2,000 in grant funding. Marshall County Tourism has announced the launch of its Tourism Enhancement and Development Events Grants.
Taste of Culver to Showcase Culver’s Culinary Cuisine
An opportunity to taste Culver’s finest cuisine will be offered in an elite setting on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET.
Over 10 restaurants will present their best in what the Culver Chamber of Commerce calls a “festival atmosphere” tomorrow afternoon. In addition to the many varieties of food, enjoy live music from a local musician and a wide range of spirits and other refreshments.
Marshall County Tourism Expands Grant Opportunities
Marshall County Tourism is allocating more grant money this year to help with the marketing and development of events exhibiting positive tourism potential to the county.
