Reinstated Law Requires Drivers to Move Vehicles after Property Damage Crashes

 
 

Indiana drivers will soon be required to move their vehicles out of the roadway after a property damage crash. Starting July 1, if a vehicle involved in an accident comes to a stop in the travel lanes of a public roadway, the driver will be required to move it as soon as possible to a location close to the accident but out of the way of traffic. Teens Face Reckless Driving and Alcohol Charges Following Traffic Stop

police-lightsA Friday night traffic stop of a car reportedly traveling 110 miles per hour in a posted 60 mph zone resulted in the detention of five teenagers by the Indiana State Police. Troopers spotted a 2001 Dodge Caravan traveling southbound on U.S. 31 just before midnight, according to a news release. As they were catching up to the van, troopers reportedly saw the five teens throw alcoholic beverages out the van’s windows. Continue reading

Pursuit Ends With Arrests, Drugs Discovered in Car

An Etna Green man faces numerous charges after leading Marshall County Police on a high-speed chase through two counties last night. The incident started around 8 p.m. when an officer tried to pull a blue Ford Focus over for expired plates in the area of 18B Road and State Road 331. The driver, identified as 24-year-old William Garrett Schultz, refused to stop and took off, according to the incident report. Continue reading

Rochester Man Arrested on Meth Charges

Donald Creviston faces felony charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a drug lab, two counts of neglect of a dependent and maintaining a common nuisance. State Police Warn of Phone Scams During Tax Season
