Plymouth High School was recently recognized for the success of its dual credit courses. It was one of 130 schools honored by State Superintendent of Public Instruction Dr. Jennifer McCormick last Monday, during a Dual Credit Ceremony at the Indiana Statehouse.
New Courses Coming to Plymouth High School
Plymouth High School students will have some new courses to choose from next school year. A list of 12 new classes was approved by the school board Tuesday.
Plymouth School Corporation Forms Committee to Address Suicide
Following the suicide deaths of two Plymouth High School students within a year of each other, the Plymouth Community School Corporation is taking a series of steps to address the issue. Marshall County Residents Get Look at Economic Development Plans
The poor condition of Marshall County’s roadways and a shortage of skilled young professionals are two of the major issues the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation hopes to address with its Marshall County Vision. Professional Development Changes Taken under Consideration
The Plymouth Community School Board gathered information from Plymouth High School Principal Jim Condon about a change in the schedule for professional development times for teachers.
Currently, students are released early on Fridays so teachers can collaborate to analyze data and discuss improvements in education in a collective setting. Condon proposed, with the support of the teacher’s association and a study committee, that students arrive an hour late to school on Tuesdays each week beginning in the 2015-2016 school year.
