State Funding Available to Help Early Childhood Education Providers Serve More Children

Early childhood education providers can apply for a share of nearly $4 million in state funding to help them boost their offerings. The Office of Early Childhood and Out-of-School Learning is offering grants to help schools and child care centers serve more children and increase the quality of their services. Specifically, grants can be used for teacher training, classroom materials, or family engagement activities.

Culver Considers Grant Applications for Park Upgrades

Culver Counts StellarFest a Success

Culver Welcome SignThe Culver Town Council spent time reviewing the first ever “StellarFest” during their Tuesday meeting.

Members of the public were invited to join representatives of the Town to learn about the Town’s application as an Indiana Stellar Community. The program is run through the Office of Community and Rural Affairs, and provides planning and grant application assistance.

Regional Cities Funding Clears Statehouse Hurdle

news-2Regional Cities funding was finalized as the clock was ticking at the Indiana Statehouse on Thursday night.

There were suspicions that Regional Cities funding may not have sufficient votes for passage out of committee after the Indiana Economic Development Corporations’ Regional Cities Task Force recommended awarding Tax Amnesty funds to three regions of the state instead of two.
