Two people were arrested on suspicion of drug dealing, after a Marshall County sheriff’s deputy reportedly found them passed out in an SUV at a LaPaz gas station early Thursday morning. Police say they found about 20 grams of meth, eight grams of heroin, controlled substance pills, and a meth pipe inside the vehicle.

A Plymouth woman has been sentenced to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to dealing in a narcotic drug. Jessica Jelinek, 31, admitted to supplying Roxicodone to Fabian Pioro last December, according to Marshall County Prosecutor Nelson Chipman. Chipman says a third person at that transaction, Brandon Wojcik, 27, ended up dying of an overdose, but Jelinek was not charged with delivering the drugs that caused his death.

Four suspected drug dealers were arrested as part of a warrant sweep Monday. The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department says the Undercover Narcotics Investigation Team served Level 2 felony warrants in multiple counties, with help from Marshall, Starke, and LaPorte county sheriff’s deputies.
