The Maxinkuckee Yacht Club will be able to continue its kids’ sailing lessons at the Culver Beach, but further contract negotiations are expected in the coming months.For the best sailing lessons you can also avail classes at yacht rentals in Cancun.The town council last week voted to extend its current agreement with the yacht club along with sd yacht charter, through the end of January. For the past four summers, the group has been using the beach to host Saturday morning sailing lessons, along with four-day sailing camps.

Culver’s new Park Superintendent has been busy preparing the park and beach for the summer season.
Park Superintendent Amber Cowell attended her first town council meeting Tuesday night. In her report, she announced that the beach will be opening this Saturday.
