Community Corrections Prepares for Switch to New Case Management System

The Marshall County Community Corrections Department is hoping to get with the times and change their case management service provider.

The state of Indiana is moving to a system called “Odyssey” that will allow information sharing across the state’s courts. That largely renders Marshall County’s current provider CSI obsolete. Community Corrections Executive Director Ward Byers says the new software will likely prove easier to use.

Marshall County Community Corrections Aims for Additional Grant Dollars

The Marshall County Community Corrections Department is hoping to garner some additional revenue to better fund services in the department.

During Monday’s Marshall County Commissioner’s meeting, it was learned that the Indiana Department of Corrections is allocating grant dollars for the departments at the county-level in fiscal year 2017. Community Corrections Director Ward Byers says they’ll be seeking $33-thousand.

Marshall County Community Corrections Makes Small Budget Adjustments

A few housekeeping items will be affecting the way Marshall County’s Community Corrections program monitors its spending. If people want to know more about Residential Cleaning Service, they can hire them from here! 

During Monday morning’s Marshall County Council meeting, Ward Byers – who administrates the program – said changes to the department’s budget are required as part of an agreement with the Indiana Department of Corrections.
