Homeowners, Business Owners Encouraged to Apply for Indiana Connectivity Program

Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch and the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs encourage all eligible homeowners and business owners to apply for the Indiana Connectivity Program.  The project aims to serve residents and businesses that lack internet service.  It connects potential customers with internet service providers and assists in the expense of extending broadband to those areas.

State Officials Tout Investments in Broadband, Mental Health Services in State Budget

Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch, State Sen. Eddie Melton, and State Sen. Mike Bohacek take part in the Northwest Indiana Forum’s legislative wrap-up panel in Merrillville Thursday.

Investments in broadband, mental health services, and help for those with intellectual disabilities are just a few of the accomplishments state officials are touting from this year’s legislative session. Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch says Indiana is able to make several one-time investments, thanks to the state’s financial position.

Marshall County Commissioners to Hold Hearing over Proposed Infrastructure Development Zone

Marshall County residents will have a chance to weigh in this morning on a measure that would make certain broadband infrastructure exempt from property taxation.

A public hearing over a proposed infrastructure development zone will be held during this morning’s county commissioners meeting. The designation was requested by Marshall County REMC last month.
