Five people were hurt in a crash last week at 4th Road and Plymouth-Goshen Trail. Marshall County Police say it happened Wednesday afternoon around 4:15. Officers believe Richard Grounds II, 30, of Bremen, was driving a 2005 Chevy Tahoe east on 4th Road, when he drove into the path of a 2007 Nissan Sentra that was heading south on Plymouth-Goshen Trail.

Two Injured in Single-Vehicle Rollover Crash Friday Night
Icy road conditions are being blamed for a rollover crash that left two people injured Friday night. Marshall County Police say it happened at 10:42 p.m. near 4th Road and Plymouth-Goshen Trail.
Improvements Continue on New EMS/Food Pantry Building
Work continues on the new EMS and food pantry building in Bremen.
The building at 1237 Plymouth Street was purchased by the town last fall. Bremen Director of Operations Trend Weldy told MAX 98.3 FM News that the town council members had eyes on another building that would have been an investment of over $400,000, but acquired the current location after submitting the winning bid at an auction. Weldy said the purchase price was less than $200,000, which left room in the budget for necessary remodeling.
Icy Roads Blamed for Bremen Wrecks
Slick roads are to blame for several crashes in the Bremen area this morning, according to officials from the Marshall County Police Department. They responded to a rollover wreck on State Road 331 just south of 6th Road around 4:15 this morning. Continue reading
