Plymouth Students Participate in Campaign to Raise Awareness About Bullying Prevention Month

Bullying is a serious issue that many students face and unfortunately with the introduction of new technology, it no longer stays in the schoolyard.

It can infiltrate multiple aspects of a child’s life to the point where they feel they’ve lost control. In order to raise awareness about this prevalent problem, October is recognized as Bullying Prevention Month.

According to Plymouth Community Schools Marketing Director Judi Lykowski, students and staff have been engaging in a campaign this week to emphasize that bullies are not welcome at their schools. Continue reading

PHS Students and Staff Prepare to Help with Parking at the 52nd Annual Blueberry Festival

Many staff members and students from Plymouth High School will be volunteering their time to help park vehicles during the 52nd Annual Marshall County Blueberry Festival. Plymouth Schools Marketing Director Judi Lykowski shared that the activity serves as a huge fundraiser for various clubs that the students participate in.

The organizations that will benefit include the speech and debate club, the local chapter of the AFS International Program, the Chinese and Spanish clubs, the band and choir, the acting club and stage crew, the robotics club, the yearbook and the prom committee. Continue reading
