City of Plymouth Mayor Robert Listenberger celebrated Earth Day and Arbor Day at Centennial Park with a team of volunteers from First Federal Savings Bank, Plymouth High School Student Council members, and The Marshall County Recycle Depot who all helped clean up Centennial Park on Monday, April 22.

Volunteers Needed for Mayor’s Youth Council Earth/Arbor Day Celebration
The Mayor’s Youth Council plans to show Mother Earth some love tomorrow. Volunteers ages 11 and older are needed for their third annual Earth Day celebration. It gets under way at 9 a.m. at River Park Square on Garro Street and continues until 1 p.m. Participants are asked to wear long pants and shoes with closed toes. Culver Tree Commission Continues Replacement Efforts
The Culver Tree Commission met on Friday morning after some of the members returned to the lake community for the summer.
The Commission has been considering their goals for 2015 and will proceed with additional work to the Town Park along Lake Maxinkuckee.

Plymouth To Celebrate Two Holidays With Clean-up
Plymouth’s Mayor is hoping to attract some volunteers to an event that recognizes two holidays.
The Mayor’s Youth Council will hold their third annual Earth Day/Arbor Day Celebration in River Park Square at the end of April. Mayor Mark Senter says the event will also act as a day to clean-up the area.
