Marshall County Auditor Angie Birchmeier achieved her Gold Masters Pin.

She began courses through the Association of Indiana Counties (AIC) Institute for Excellence in County Government when she first took office in 2017 and has continued to pursue training made available to her.

AIC offers a wide variety of courses from Human Resources to Budgets to Legal & Ethical Communication.

From this point Birchmeier will pursue her Platinum Master Pin and ultimately the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Hometown Heroes Banners to be hung for Memorial Day, Ceremony to be Held at River Park Square Friday

PLYMOUTH — The Tippecanoe-Wythougan Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) are celebrating the arrival and display of Hometown Heroes Banners to be hung in downtown Plymouth and River Park Square in time for Memorial Day.

Applications Available for Veteran Banners to be Displayed in Plymouth

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members approved a request from the Tippecanoe-Wythougan Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution concerning the display of veteran banners on the city’s street light poles during Memorial Day.

Marshall County Treasurer Reminds Residents of Approaching Tax Deadline

Marshall County Treasurer Angie Birchmeier wishes to remind all community members that the 2016 payable 2017 tax bills second installment will be due Monday, November 13th. That means that individuals have three weeks to be sure all the correct information makes it to the proper channels.

Mailed payments must have the correct address, proper postage and be postmarked by the postal service by November 13th. If you wish to have a receipt, enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope with your payment.

The Marshall County Treasurer’s Office is located in Room 206 of the County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth. There is a drop box on the south end of the County Building for after-hours payments. Continue reading
