The Culver Town Council members held a public hearing this week to hear comments on a proposed additional appropriation ordinance.
Clerk-Treasurer Karen Heim said it was hard to guess what money would be spent toward efforts going for the Stellar Communities Designation Program in 2017 when the budget process was conducted in late fall of 2016.

The Marshall County Council made some funding arrangements Monday for the county’s Community Crossings projects, but lowered the cushion for potential cost overruns in the process. Incentives for a snack producer moving into the Marshall County Shell Building will be considered this evening by the Plymouth Common Council. Plymouth Appropriates Funds for Blueberry Festival Fireworks Upgrades
Fireworks at the Marshall County Blueberry Festival were again up for discussion during Wednesday’s special session of the Plymouth Common Council. Last month, the Common Council voted to give the festival an additional $25,000 for this year’s fireworks, after festival organizers asked the city to fund the upgrades in recognition of the Blueberry Festival’s 50th anniversary.
