Culver School Board Adopts 2020 Budget

The Culver Community Schools Corporation’s 2020 budget was adopted by the school board Monday, according to Superintendent Karen Shuman. The total budget adds up to more than $13.9 million. Just over $5.4 million of that will be the Education Fund, and a little more than $4.5 million will be the Operations Fund. $1.6 million is budgeted out of the revenues resulting from last year’s property tax referendum.

Plymouth School Board Adopts 2020 Budget

The Plymouth Community School Corporation’s 2020 budget was adopted during Tuesday’s school board meeting. It calls for a total budget of more than $36 million. Just over $20 million of that is the Education Fund, with an Operations Fund of more than $9 million. Business Manager Kandi Tinkey said she anticipates the total tax rate to be about 1.16 percent, up from just over 1.1 percent.

The Plymouth Community School Corporation’s 2020 budget will be up for adoption during tonight’s school board meeting. It calls for a total budget of more than $36 million. Just over $20 million of that is the Education Fund, with an Operations Fund of more than $9 million. The 2020 capital projects and bus replacement plans will also be up for board approval.

Marshall County Council to Hold Budget Hearing Today

Marshall County residents have the chance to weigh in on the county’s 2020 budget proposal. The required budget hearing will be held during this morning’s county council meeting. It starts at 9:00 a.m. in the Marshall County Building in Plymouth.
