Plymouth Police make unlicensed arrests

PLYMOUTH — On the afternoon of Oct. 2, a Plymouth Officer observed a vehicle traveling on Michigan Street, with sheet metal obstructing the driver’s view.
After speaking with the driver of the vehicle, it was determined that Jose Yobani Vargas-Mejia (53) had never received a license.
Vargas-Mejia was transported and lodged into the Marshall County Jail, and charged with operating a vehicle without ever obtaining a license.

PLYMOUTH — On Oct. 2 at 12:35 a.m., Plymouth Police were conducting speed enforcement on US 30. A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle traveling at 80Mph in a posted 60Mph zone, East of Michigan Road. During the traffic stop it was discovered that the driver, Jason Dicuru Astudillo was operating the vehicle without ever obtaining a valid driver’s license. Dicuru Astudillo was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Marshall County Jail.

PLYMOUTH — On Sept. 30 at 1:30 p.m., a car driven by Isaul Granados Mendoza, 46, was pulled over for a traffic violation.
During the subsequent investigation, it was determined that Mendoza was operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license (with a prior conviction for the same). He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Marshall County Jail.

Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
