
PLYMOUTH — On the morning of July 27, at 1:20 am, a Plymouth Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on Michigan Street near Elliott Ave for a moving violation.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 54-year-old Jose R. Calix-Berrios of Plymouth. Calix-Berrios was found to have never been issued a driver’s license with a prior conviction and was taken into custody.
On July 27 at 12:38 a.m. Plymouth Police conducted a traffic stop on a Nissan Rogue traveling west on W Jefferson St. for failure to maintain a lane.
The driver, Ismael Fernando Rodriguez Mejia, 43, of Plymouth, was found to be operating the vehicle without ever obtaining a valid driver’s license.
Rodriguez Mejia was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County jail, where he was issued a court date and a bond.
On July 26 at 10:57 a.m., a vehicle being driven by Sandro Lazaro Arroyo was stopped for a traffic infraction. Arroyo was found to have never received a driver’s license. He was lodged at the Marshall County Jail.
Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
