Marshall County Deputies make no license arrests

 

On January 4th 2026,​ around 8:55pm a Marshall County Deputy stopped a vehicle on US31 north of 9a Road for driving the wrong direction of north in the south bound lanes. It was found the driver,​ Elyin Garcia of Knox,​ had never received a drivers license and was in possession of fraudulent government documents. He was arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail where he was ​charged for those offenses along with reckless driving.

On Sunday,​ January 18th 2026 at approximately 10:54 pm a Marshall County Officer came across a vehicle ​traveling northbound in the southbound lanes in reverse. The Officer initiated a traffic stop. During the investigation,​ it was discovered that the driver,​ Quanesha Samone Winston did not have a valid driver’s license. Ms. Winston was transported to the Marshall County Jail for operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license. ​
