
Marshall County plans to further consider implementing a vote center concept during election season.
County Clerk Debbie Vandemark said the Election Board is ready to move ahead with the idea following the acquisition of electronic poll books. About 1/3 of the counties in Indiana are now using the model. Under the proposal, the polling sites in Marshall County could be used by anyone properly registered to vote and residing in the county.

The Plymouth School Board will consider extending administrator contracts during their meeting, tonight.
The Culver School Board is now set for 2016, after the board reorganized during Monday’s meeting. Jim Wentzel was elected to serve as school board president, replacing Ken VanDePutte. Mark Maes succeeds Wentzel as vice president, and Marina Cavazos was chosen to take over as secretary, replacing Maes.
Local high school students and their parents will have the chance to learn more about how to pay for college. Plymouth High School is hosting a Financial Aid Night tomorrow.

Minor flooding of the Tippecanoe River near Ora is expected to occur over the weekend. A flood warning remains in effect until late Sunday night. As of 8 p.m. Wednesday the river was holding steady at 11.7 feet. That’s just below the 12 foot flood stage in that area.
