Funeral services for 90-year-old Raymond Glen Morrison will be Saturday, May 4 at 11 a.m. at the Pretty Lake Trinity United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Plymouth with visitation there on Friday, May 3 form 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the service. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Odom Funeral Home in Culver.

A celebration of life service for Melissa Gouker, 50, of Plymouth will be held Tuesday, April 30 at 3 p.m. CDT at the Rannells Funeral Home Hamlet Chapel, with a gathering of friends and family there from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorials may be given to the family.

67-year-old Patricia Harness, of Plymouth, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019.  Funeral services will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. CDT at the Hamlet United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be Monday at the church prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. CDT.  Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel is handling arrangements.

Funeral services for 62-year-old Larry Gene Stacy, of Argos, formerly of Knox, will be held on Friday, April 12 at 6 p.m. at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home in Argos with visitation there from 3 p.m. until the time of the services. Memorial contributions may be to the Larry Gene Stacy Memorial Fund to help the family with final expenses.

Donald Irving Green of Culver, Indiana passed away April 7th, 2019. Donald’s family is holding a memorial service at the M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox on Friday April 12, with a visitation from 3-5 p.m. (CST), a service will follow starting at 5 p.m.

Donald was born August 8 1939 to Irving Winfield Green and Milly Mable Eskridge. Donald served in the Army where he obtained the rank of Sargent. He worked as a machinist for in the Tool and Die Industry for many years. Before retiring he spent 25 years at Joy Manufacturing. Continue reading →

Mr. Thomas “Tommy” A. Bauer, 77, of Rochester, passed away at 3:00 PM, on St. Joseph’s Day, Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Dukes Hospital of Peru.

On August 18, 1941, Thomas Albert Bauer was born in Monterey to Fred and LaPearl Keller Bauer. As one of the six Bauer kids, growing up he shared his childhood with two sisters Therese and Rose Louise and three brothers Bill, Fred and Bernard. Tom graduated from Monterey HIgh School with his class in 1959.

79-year-old Rodney Howard, of Rochester, passed away Friday, December 7, 2018.

A memorial service will be Friday, December 14th at 6:00 p.m. EST at the Antioch Baptist Church of Walkerton. Visitation will be Friday at the church from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the church.

Owen Michael Abbott, 13, of Winamac, IN passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 in Plymouth, IN as the result of a school bus accident. Owen was born on May 2, 2005, in Winamac to Dean Abbott, Jr. and Britni Weldon.

Owen enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and playing sports. He was a member of the Pulaski County 4H and was active in the shooting sports club. He played baseball for Star City Little League and was on the All-Star team every year. Continue reading →

Visitation will be on Friday, November 30 at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the service.

83-year-old Joan Bigora of Plymouth, formerly of Knox, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018. A memorial service will be Friday, October 26, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. CDT at Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel. Visitation with the family will be Friday at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Private family services will be held for 46-year-old Jeffrey M. Kelsey, of Culver. Memorial contributions may be made to the Aubbee Library. The Odom Funeral Home in Culver is in charge of arrangements.

In keeping with her wishes, no services will be held for 61-year-old Connie Sue Burkett, of Culver. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or a local pet shelter. Arrangements have been entrusted to Frain Mortuary in Winamac.

94-year-old Leigh Roy Hahn Sr. of Plymouth, formerly of Walkerton, passed away Sunday, July 29. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. EDT at the Walkerton United Methodist Church. Lawrence “Doboy” Joseph Kriss, of Plymouth, passed away early Saturday morning, July 14, 2018 in his residence in Plymouth.
He was born in Knox, Indiana on December 11, 1954 to Joseph and Marcella (Sramek) Kriss.

Larry is a 1972 graduate of NJSP High School. He attended the American Institute of Baking International, Manhattan, KS and Business Management at Ancilla College, Donaldson.

Larry was a loving husband to Gwendolyn “Gwen” Anliker, who he married on September 7, 1985 in the Medaryville Christian Church, Medaryville, Indiana. He worked for many years at Fingerhut Bakery in North Judson and Plymouth, Jarosch Bakery in Elk Grove, Illinois, Bunny Bakery in LaPorte, and Martin’s Bakery in South Bend.
