Ounce of Prevention is thrilled to announce the 2020-21 recipient of the $1,000. OOP Scholarship-Miss Ann Anders from PHS.
Ann will be graduating from Plymouth High School this year with a 3.83 GPA. Ounce of Prevention asks for anyone wanting to apply for the OOP Scholarship, to either have volunteered for OOP or have been touched by cancer. Ann has been touched through watching her Grandmother suffer from different health ailments along the way …….“witnessing my family go through a lot of the heart ache of disease and sickness makes me want to help other people. For some people life is nothing more than hospital visits and medications. I want to be the person to make them smile. I never want my patients to dread coming to see me. I have my grandmother to thank for my passion to be an amazing nurse one day. “
Miss Anders will be attending Indiana University of South Bend to continue her education in the medical field. Ounce of Prevention wants to congratulate Ann on a
job well done.
