National Weather Service Issues Dense Fog Advisory
A dense fog advisory is in effect through mid-morning. Visibility will be reduced to a quarter of a mile or less in places. The fog is expected to lift by 9 a.m. Eastern, 8 a.m. Central. Until then, motorists should slow down, use low-beam headlights for visibility and leave plenty of distance between vehicles.
Plymouth to Chip In $25,000 for Blueberry Festival Fireworks
The Marshall County Blueberry Festival will have a larger fireworks display this year, thanks to the City of Plymouth. Members of the Plymouth Common Council Monday voted to give the festival $25,000 for upgrades to this year’s fireworks. Marshall Council Supports EMA Assistant Position
Marshall County plans to expand its Emergency Management Agency Department for added security at the county building.
The matter was discussed last week by the County Commissioners, but funding the proposal was addressed by the County Council on Monday morning.
