Commissioners Approve Contract for Health Department Design Work

Plans are now progressing for an eventual move of the Marshall County Health Department.

The idea has been discussed for a few years, but received approval by the Marshall County Council last week. During Monday morning’s County Commissioners meeting, a contract was presented that will lead to preliminary design and construction documents for the move.

Seven local D.A.R.E. students were recognized during a banquet Thursday. Essay winners from each of the seven schools that take part in Marshall County’s D.A.R.E program had the chance to read their essay during the event. Continue reading
