Plymouth man arrested for battery

PLYMOUTH — On the afternoon of Aug. 27, 2026, a Plymouth Patrolman was parked behind a vehicle in an alleyway and

blocking traffic. Patrolman Thornton proceeded to watch a man and woman get into an altercation, and the vehicle pulled away into the roadway, with another person hanging on to the moving vehicle.
The officer stopped the vehicle and detained Fernando Baca Villagomez, 37, of Plymouth. During the investigation, injuries were located on the other party. Villagomez was placed in custody, transported to the Marshall County Jail, and charged with Domestic Battery.

Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
