PLYMOUTH – The Marshall County Plan Commission approved a zoning change for a group of properties on US 6 just off of US 31.
Don Good and Andy Heltzell of Danch, Harner and Associates, a civil engineering firm in South Bend, came before the board representing Don Balka who brought forward the request and the Kertai family who also own a parcel in the requested area of change.
The group sought to have the zoning changed from C2 to A1. Heltzell explained that the properties had been changed to C2 at one point, purportedly for a commercial development in the area that never took place.
The Board approved the request unanimously.
