PLYMOUTH — On Aug. 26, 2026, at 11:54 A.M., Plymouth Police initiated a traffic stop on a reckless driver who was traveling

Southbound on US 31 near 9A Road.
The vehicle was observed traveling at a speed of 90 MPH in a posted 65 MPH zone while weaving through traffic. During the traffic stop, the odor of marijuana was detected coming from the vehicle. Before the vehicle could be searched for the suspected marijuana, the driver, Brian Jackson Jr., 36, of Avon, fled the scen
Plymouth Police and Marshall County Deputies pursued Jackson into Fulton County, where deputies effectively deployed stop sticks, disabling Jackson’s vehicle. Brian Jackson was taken into custody shortly after his vehicle was disabled.
A search of the vehicle by officers located 183 grams of marijuana and items to be utilized for distribution of that amount.
Jackson was transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he was lodged pending charges for Resisting Law Enforcement – Flees with a Vehicle, Dealing in Marijuana/Hashish/Salvia, Possession of Marijuana – Prior Conviction + Amount, Obstruction of Justice, Aggressive Driving, and Reckless Driving.
Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
