LaPAZ — On Aug. 21, 2026, at approximately 10 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop near Kimble Street and Cortland Street

after observing a vehicle displaying an expired license plate.
The driver was identified as Melissa Marie Gamble of Plymouth. During the investigation, it was determined that Gamble’s driving privileges were previously suspended. During a subsequent inventory of the vehicle, the officer located two small baggies containing suspected methamphetamine and a glass smoking device.
Gamble was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on charges of: Driving While Suspended-Prior, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
