Drug and child neglect arrest

PLYMOUTH — On Wednesday, July 29,​ 2026, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department received a complaint from the Indiana

Department of Child Services,​ regarding a 6-year-old child testing positive for Methamphetamine.
Marshall County Officers then responded to an address on 14th Road and made contact with the father,​ Steven Nissley. Through the investigation, a search of his living area was conducted, and officers recovered suspected methamphetamine and marijuana.
Nissley was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail and charged with Neglect of a Dependent Level 5 Felony,​ Possession of Methamphetamine Level 6 Felony,​ Possession of Marijuana Class B Misdemeanor.

Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
