CULVER — On Aug. 1, 2026, at 1:07 PM, Marshall County deputies were called to a possible domestic situation at an address in
Culver.
Deputies arrived on scene and determined there was an altercation that turned physical involving Efrain Duran Sanchez, 45, and Adelsy Figueroa Hernandez, 33. Both individuals showed signs of a physical fight and were placed into custody.
There were children present at the time of the incident, so both were charged with domestic battery in front of a child under the age of 16. According to the police report, both agreed to have the children stay at a friend’s house for the time being. They were then transported to Plymouth
Hospital to be checked out and were both given jail clearance. They were charged and booked on domestic battery in the presence of children under 16.
Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
