PLYMOUTH — On the evening of July 7, 2026, at 9 pm, a Plymouth Police Police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle

near the intersection of Michigan and Franklin Street for equipment violations.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Brenda Hurley, 58, of Bourbon. K9 Kyzer assisted on the traffic stop and alerted to the presence of narcotic odor. Hurley was also found to be showing signs of impairment and was ultimately taken into custody.
Suspected marijuana was also located in the vehicle. Hurley was lodged at the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated-controlled substance and possession of marijuana-prior.
Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
