TIPPECANOE — On July 21, 2026, at 6:49 pm, Marshall County Dispatch broadcast a report of an unknown disturbance near
Cedar Rd and 18th Rd in Tippecanoe.
A woman had requested police to respond as quickly as possible. Bourbon Police and Marshall County Officers responded.
During the investigation, it was discovered that a battery had occurred. Barry Helvey, 65, was transported to the Marshall County Jail for Domestic Battery.
Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
