PLYMOUTH — On Friday, July 17, 2026, at approximately 8:20 AM, deputies with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department

responded to Tulip Road for a trespassing complaint.
Upon arriving on scene, deputies contacted the property owner and the suspected trespasser, Kassidy Phipps of Leesburg. After an investigation, it was found that a vehicle in Phipps’s possession had been reported stolen in Michigan. Phipps was also found to have an active warrant through Fulton County.
MCSD was assisted by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Phipps was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for theft.
Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
