PLYMOUTH – The Marshall County Commissioners spent some time during Marshall County Economic Development

Corporation CEO Greg Hildebrand’s quarterly report talking about aeronautics company involvement at the Plymouth Airport.
In October of last year, Maloy Aircraft, a manufacturer of state-of-the-art pilot training aircraft, signed an agreement with Plymouth’s AlphaFlight Academy to be an official training provider using Maloy’s aircraft.
In addition, Maloy is considering Plymouth as a location for their manufacturing facility. Hildebrand told the Commissioners that the process is ongoing.
That grant would pay for the extension of water and sewer infrastructure to the airport.
The training part of the project continues to grow, with AlphaFlight planning to start a training certification program for airplane mechanics.
