Culver Public Hearing for Water Rates July 24th

The Town of Culver will hold a work session, followed by a regular Town Council meeting this Thursday, July 24th.

The work session will take place at 5pm Eastern Time, and the Town Council meeting will begin at 6:30pm Eastern Time. Both meetings are at Culver Town Hall, located at 200 East Washington Street.

Both meetings will be joinable via Microsoft Teams or by phone, and both meetings are open to the public.

The Work Session will be used for the council members to discuss future projects.

According to the agenda for the town council meeting, after the roll call, pledge of allegiance, and approval of the minutes from their July 10th regular meeting, the council will hear from Jonah Best from One Marshall County.

There will then be a public hearing in regards to ordinance 2025-008, on the subject of Water rates and charges. All interested parties may appear at the public hearing and be heard. There is a copy of the ordinance on file at the Clerk-Treasurer’s Office or online at culver.in.gov under Documents.

Following the public hearing, under Old Business, the council will discuss the Water Plant Improvement Bid Award. Under New Business, the council will perform a first reading of Ordinance 2025-008 in regards to Water rates and charges for the town.

After that, the board will hear reports from the Technical Review and Plan Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals, Redevelopment Commission, and Tree Commission. After the town manager report and the clerk’s report, the council will address any other issues before adjourning the meeting.
